The Initiative
Each year 1.1 million human lives are killed in America through abortion. Since 1973, this death toll has risen to 53 million and counting. But contrary to what most people perceive, abortion is not a reality in the United States merely because of legislation or a Supreme Court decision, but because the idea has been lost that life is sacred. In a day when 50% of mothers aborting their babies are younger than 25, a movement is stirring to see the youth of America bring a change. The Rose Initiative calls forth a generation to the conviction that life is sacred and to the expectation that it can be reclaimed in our time.
The ROSE Initiative
The Rose Initiative is founded on the belief that abortion can be ended in America in this generation. For that to take place, a generation of Americans must embrace the sacredness of life and identify with the movement to restore it. Americans must be mobilized to pray and to understand the issues in the modern struggle over America’s laws. Finally, Americans must be personally connected with the issue and tangibly respond to help those who are negatively affected.
